Our Social accountability initiatives

Gemmo has been conducting a company social accountability policy for years, by monitoring economic, environmental and social expectations of its stakeholders, in order to undertake an organic series of ethical actions according to company’s policy and its penchant for innovation.

Starting from 1996, Gemmo has adopted a series of procedures, processes and tools that have become pillars of the company’s responsible conduct. The Quality Management System (UNI EN ISO 9001 certificate), the Ethical Code, the Organizational Model 231/01, the System for Safety Management (BS 0HSAS 18001 certificate), the System of Environmental Management  (UNI EN ISO 14001 certificate), the System for Energy Management (ISO 50001 and UNI CEI 11352 certificates) and the System of Social Accountability Management (SA8000 certificate) are all staples of Gemmo’s worldwide approach.
