Gemmo’s participation in Ecomed 2022 – Progetto Comfort, the Mediterranean Green Expo, has successfully concluded. The event was held at Le Ciminiere exhibition center in Catania.
This is Gemmo’s third consecutive participation in this important event, for which it was also the main sponsor this year.
Gemmo’s presence in Sicily, growing in size and importance of existing orders, has attracted numerous private and institutional visitors. We were able to discuss with them about experiences, initiatives and interesting perspectives that the Sicilian landscape presents.
There were also many technology partners and suppliers we could deal with. This is a fundamental aspect of our work, especially in a period of great change such as the one we are experiencing.
Gemmo’s more than 40 years of activity in Sicily has been enriched over the past year by the Concession for theenergy efficiency of 91 sites of the Cultural Heritage of the Sicilian Region, which includes 28 years of subsequent management and maintenance of the facilities.
Other ongoing activities include the construction of the prestigious Center for Biomedical Research (RIMED) in Carini, the operation and maintenance of facilities at Catania Airport andPalermo Airport, and extraordinary maintenance activities at Sigonella Base.
