Operation and maintenance of technological facilities, including supply of energy carriers, building maintenance, green area maintenance, snow removal service for all buildings of the European Institute of Oncology based in Milan.

Gemmo has been operating and maintaining since 2015:

• Thermal power plant with 16 boilers for total output of 5,500KW
• Cogeneration power plant with 1 generator for total power 2,000KW
• Central refrigeration plant with 6 chiller units for total capacity 7,900KW
• 2 power plants with 2,000 outlets for medical gas systems Nitrogen-Medical Air-Oxygen-Argon
• 3 fire-fighting stations, 5 argon gas extinguishing stations, and 1,800 fire-fighting devices
• 3 x 5 MW MV/LV electrical substations
• 2,500 fire detectors
• supervision, automation and remote control with 10,000 control points
• 2 radioactive waste facilities
• 45 elevator/escalator systems
• 100 automatic doors
